Myopic thinking…

Read It Again

It’s all about me and my personal salvation…  Wow, what a incredibly myopic and selfish thought.

Can it be that Jesus really did come to redeem all of creation and not just little old us?

I am not sure where the doctrine developed of personal salvation, I am sure there are a few studies on the subject.  Yet, our God is an all encompassing God, and all of creation is His.  Starting from the front of the book, we were given a task, it would seem on the surface a rather simple task.  Well, the best laid plans of mice and men…

Redemption, to take back at a cost.

When we were kids we often played games with other kids.  Remember that kid that made up their own rules as the game went?  Did that kid annoy us or what?  Or were we them?

God set His “ways” in the beginning, and contrary to popular belief, He does not change so those ways still apply.  That includes to Himself.  He still must be the example for us on what and how His ways are.  Yes, even the ultimate redemption.

I am beyond words indebted to Yeshua for “while we were yet sinners”…  But very much aware that the redemption payment went way beyond me, way beyond my ways.  How do we live the example of that redemption?  We are in the image of and supposed to live the character of…

Shalom/Chairete,

Bob
