Get my affairs in order…
by Skip Moen, D. Phil.
We use this phrase when talking about someone who is at the end of their days and need to set things straight and take care of business. So what if we viewed this as a daily task, that I need to align my affairs with God, set things straight and take care of business both to and for Him?
I like what Skip pointed out about an assumed insertion, it might even be OK but still inserted. If we take it as written, then yes we have a different focus. Aligning with God for the day, every day. Remember the saying, dress for the part you want to be? So how are we preparing to journey, walking the path of a disciple of Yeshua.
Well, that is a different way to start your day rather that prayer list of God what can you do for me today…
