We had a chat about this on a Wednesday Night Live, where is God’s power and are we living in it? Meaning is it only a heaven thing? Are we living any different? We say power is His all the time, yet very little evidence of that exists.
We are constantly giving God (or Jesus) a laundry list of what we need, often with our remedy on how to fix it, oh and throw in the time table too. Can God be sufficient, can he be enough? Even if we can see no way how that will work or even look like? Are we sure our thought of the fortress we are in is where we want to be, could His fortress look a bit different than we were taught?
Could our interaction with God be more of a David expectation and interaction? Could our view of what God expects from us be related in any way to our fortress perceptions? Maybe where I am is not where I am suppose to be at all…
