So what leaps to mind when you think about managed care? I think of an assisted care or senior community where your daily care is monitored and often guided. Kind of a simple thought but I think you get the picture.
So what if your everyday life was given to God for “managed care”? Yes, you would probably lose some choices that “you” want. Maybe even take a trip you did not expect to take. Be content with your current situation.
We say often that God wants the best for us. I think that is a challenging statement because we tend to want to decide what is best and then expect Him to fulfill it. So really more our best and God can make it happen.
So flip that, God wants what is best for you on His terms, what he deems is best, and can you live with that? It is for His namesake and His glory, not ours. But are you really ready to do that? Can you give Him your managed care? I know His way promises to be the best way for us, we just are not in control to decide what that is, kind of a scary thought.
His way, content with where we are, managed by Him, boy does that sound peaceful to me…
